Prominent Islamic scholars from Saudi Arabia, the United States of America, Malaysia and several other countries have converged on Nigeria for a major international conference focused on promoting sound Islamic creed as a foundation for social stability and moral order.
The conference, which brought together renowned clerics, academics and religious leaders, aims to address contemporary moral, social and security challenges confronting societies, particularly in the Muslim world. Participants are expected to deliberate on the role of authentic Islamic teachings in fostering peaceful coexistence, ethical conduct and national development.
