How can a government that claims revenue performance is improving suddenly turn around to seek ₦20 trillion in new loans for the 2026 budget?

This is not policy.

This is not planning.

This is pure fiscal irresponsibility.

At a time when debt servicing is already consuming almost half of our national revenue, the government still believes borrowing is the only vision it can offer Nigerians. Meanwhile, insecurity is worsening, unemployment is rising, businesses are closing, and citizens are struggling to survive daily.

So where is all the revenue from 2025?

How can the government jump to talk about 2026 borrowing when the 2024 budget is still being implemented?

Why is the 2025 budget already being treated like a forgotten document?

Even after boasting that revenue targets were surpassed since August, there is zero clarity on where the money went.

What exactly is being funded? Who is benefiting? Because it is clearly not the Nigerian people.

This government continues to borrow without accountability, spend without transparency, and feed the country propaganda instead of results. They are not investing in production. They are not improving exports. They are not building strong institutions. They are only expanding consumption and debt.

This is how nations collapse — when leaders mortgage the future of their children through reckless borrowing.

No serious country borrows its way into prosperity.

No serious government raises debt while production is shrinking.

No serious leadership increases hardship and still celebrates itself.

If the Federal Government truly wants to lead, it should show Nigerians the books.

Explain the missing revenues.

Account for the trillions already borrowed.

Stop using debts to cover incompetence.

Nigeria is tired of propaganda.

We need transparency, not tricks.

We need accountability, not excuses.

We need leadership, not endless loans.

A country cannot move forward when those leading it are dragging it backwards.

A New Nigeria is POssible — but not under this kind of governance.
