Recall Alert: Avoid Indomie Vegetable Noodles – NAFDAC

 The National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued a public alert warning consumers to avoid Indomie Instant Noodles, Vegetable Flavour, following a recall notice.

In the alert, NAFDAC advised members of the public to exercise caution and refrain from purchasing or consuming the affected product until further notice. The agency said the recall is part of its regulatory responsibility to ensure the safety and quality of food products available in the Nigerian market.

NAFDAC urged distributors, retailers, and consumers who may be in possession of the affected Indomie Vegetable Flavour noodles to discontinue sale and use immediately. The agency also encouraged the public to report any adverse reactions or suspicious products through its official reporting channels.

While reiterating its commitment to safeguarding public health, NAFDAC stated that it is working closely with relevant stakeholders to investigate the issue and ensure that all affected products are withdrawn from circulation.

Consumers were advised to remain vigilant, always check product labels and regulatory information, and rely on official NAFDAC communications for updates regarding food safety alerts and recalls.
