𝗘𝗱𝗼 𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝘆, 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

 The Edo State Government has called on young people in the state to take advantage of the ongoing recruitment into the Nigerian Army, describing it as an opportunity to build a purposeful and rewarding career.

The appeal is tied to the Army’s ongoing 91 Regular Recruit Intake (RRI) exercise, which aims to enlist qualified Nigerians into military service. State officials encouraged eligible youths to apply in order to ensure Edo meets its recruitment quota.

According to the government, joining the Army offers:

• Stable employment and career growth
• Professional training and discipline
• Opportunities for education and skill development
• A chance to serve the nation

Authorities also stressed the importance of increased participation to avoid under-representation of the state in the military, which could limit opportunities for its indigenes.

Prospective applicants were advised to follow official recruitment guidelines, avoid middlemen or fraudsters, and ensure they meet all requirements before applying.

The initiative reflects broader efforts to engage Nigerian youths in productive ventures while strengthening national security through increased manpower in the armed forces.
