An All Progressives Congress (APC) forum has endorsed Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Siminalayi Fubara for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group said its decision was based on what it described as “bold reforms” and “evidence-based performance” by both leaders. According to the forum, President Tinubu’s economic policies—though challenging in the short term—are laying a foundation for long-term stability and growth, while Governor Fubara has demonstrated commitment to governance and development in Rivers State.
The endorsement signals early political alignment within the ruling party as preparations gradually begin for the 2027 elections. Party stakeholders have increasingly highlighted achievements in infrastructure, economic restructuring, and governance reforms as justification for continuity in leadership.
Supporters within the forum argued that sustaining current policies would ensure consistency and allow ongoing projects and reforms to mature. They also called on party members nationwide to rally behind Tinubu and Fubara to consolidate gains made so far.
