Police operatives on Saturday evening arrested Nollywood actress Doris Ogala while she was granting a video interview, following her ongoing public dispute with Lagos-based cleric Pastor Chris Okafor.
The arrest reportedly occurred at Ogala’s residence as she was speaking during a live or recorded video session. The incident, which was captured on camera before the interview was abruptly interrupted, quickly circulated on social media, drawing widespread public attention.
Ogala has in recent days been involved in a heated and highly publicised feud with Pastor Okafor, founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry. The actress had made several allegations against the cleric, including claims relating to their past relationship and other contentious accusations, which sparked intense online debate and reactions.
Although details surrounding the arrest remain unclear, sources said police operatives arrived during the interview and took the actress into custody. As of the time of filing this report, the Nigeria Police Force has not issued an official statement clarifying the reasons for her arrest or whether formal charges have been filed.
The development marks a major twist in the controversy, which has dominated social media and entertainment news in recent days. Further updates are expected as investigations continue and authorities provide official clarification on the matter.
