Lagos, Nigeria – A Nigerian lady has sparked conversation online after criticizing singer Davido for appearing on comedian Carter Efe’s livestream, questioning the motivation behind the move.
In a video making rounds on social media, she stated:
"I love Davido, we've been friends for a long time. But sometimes he does too much. You need to give yourself that respect. Who's Carter Efe? Why are you showing up for him—is it because he called out Wizkid the other day, and you want to be in everybody’s good books?"
She contrasted Davido’s actions with Wizkid, whom she described as more reserved, saying:
"Not everybody must like you. You’re a star; respect yourself. That’s why I respect Wizkid."
