NAHCO Staff Returns $10,000 Found on Aircraft at Kano Airport

 A staff member of the Nigeria Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO), Auwal Ahmed Dankode, has been widely commended for his honesty after discovering $10,000—estimated at about ₦16 million—inside an aircraft at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport.

Auwal made the discovery while carrying out routine cleaning duties on the aircraft. Rather than keeping the money, he immediately reported the find to the airline’s management to enable efforts to locate and return the cash to its rightful owner.

Hailing from Kode in Kano State, Auwal’s action has been described as a powerful display of integrity, responsibility, and strong moral character, earning him praise from colleagues and members of the public.

His conduct serves as a reminder that honesty and ethical values remain alive and worthy of recognition in society.
