Controversial Lagos-based cleric, Dr. Chris Okafor, has reportedly married a new partner, sparking online drama and allegations from women who claim they were previously involved with him.
Leading the accusations is Nollywood actress Doris Ogala, who has publicly alleged that the cleric used her for several years and betrayed her by proceeding with the wedding. She has vowed to oppose the marriage, demanding compensation and insisting that Okafor should pay her and buy her a mansion for what she described as seven years of emotional involvement.
Other women have also surfaced online with similar claims, fueling heated debates across social media platforms.
Despite the controversy, the wedding ceremony was reportedly attended by prominent clerics, including Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo and Bishop Isaac Idahosa, alongside other religious leaders.
As of the time of reporting, Dr. Chris Okafor has not publicly responded to the allegations, while reactions remain sharply divided between critics and supporters.
